Sawadee Ka (Hello)!

I'm Pukky and I'm a tour guide working in the North of Thailand for well over 20 years. 

 

I was born and raised in the area near by Bangkok, best knowen by the name Ampawa - Floating Market which is highly active on weekends. Ampawa is a lovely area, filled with umbrellas, coconut trees, canals and the famously delicious Thai food.
 
However, my long childhood dream was always to live aside the mountains and the forest. When I moved to Chiang Mai, I finally felt I have realized that dream. Chiang Mai area is rich with mountains and forests - the beautiful landscape that I've painted in my dreams.

 

Traveling and tourism wasn't developed in my hometown, but every week, I went down to buy travel magazines and eagrly read each and every page. That was my passion and I was hooked. 

 

Growing up, I went to Bangkok to work and study and 3 years later, I have reached Chiang Mai University where I was certified as an official licenced tour guide - and thus, my carrer as a tour guide has begun.

 

When establishing Bussadee Tours (Busadee is a pink lotus), my aspiration was to share with you my dream, my experience and the wonders of Thailand. Thailand, also known as "The land of the smiles" has anything and everything: Nature, Culture, Mountrains, Jungle, Rivers, Animals and fantastic food.
